Afternoon Tea Cruise
A “Two Island” cruise from Maldon Quay past Northey Island to Osea Island and back. Includes freshly baked scone,cream and jam, homemade cake, tea or coffee.

Leaving the Quay, the barge heads down river past the Victorian Promenade Park; past the statue of Brithnoth guarding Maldon against marauding Vikings; Northea Island which is a bird reserve owned by the National Trust; Heybridge Basin, the entrance to the Chelmer and Blackwater Canal; Mill Beach with it’s colourful beach huts on legs and finally towards the privately owned Osea Island, now a luxury weekend retreat and wedding venue.
Tea is served in the saloon which you can eat below or choose to take your plate back on deck as we head back up river to Maldon comprising freshly baked Paul Hollywood scones served with butter, cream and jam, homemade Victoria Sponge, Freetrade cafetiere coffee and a choice of tea.
