Sailing Barge – VICTOR (1895)

"Victor”, built in 1895 at the Dock End Yard in Ipswich for work in the Linseed Oil trade, is now one of the oldest remaining Thames Sailing Barges still working and continues to make a significant contribution to our maritime heritage.

Following a major re-fit in 2005/2006, Victor is now available for charter providing people with the opportunity to experience at first hand a 19th century sailing vessel that was once a once a familiar part of the landscape of the Thames and East Coast rivers.
